Evidence Based Approaches

Jared Calaway, LPC-S

For more than 20 years, I've walked alongside individuals, couples, and families through life's hardest seasons. My calling began in Indonesia just after college, where I saw firsthand how aid workers and volunteers who poured themselves out for others were often running on empty themselves. That experience led me to earn my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Theological Seminary in 2007, after completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Howard Payne University in 2001. Since then, I've served in hospitals, community mental health centers, and private practice — including two and a half years overseas with my family, serving refugees displaced by civil war.

My life verse, Colossians 4:6, shapes how I approach every session: "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." I believe counseling works best when grace and truth are held together — prayer, Scripture, and clinical care woven into one. As an LPC-S, I offer individual, couples, and family counseling, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you toward healing, wholeness, and restoration.
